Privacy Policy
What I collect, why, and what I do with it.

Etowah Digital LLC ("Etowah Digital," "I," "me") builds and looks after websites for local businesses in and around Rome, Georgia. This page explains what information I collect, why, and what I do with it. The short version: I only collect what I need to do the work, I never sell it, and I never share your phone number for anyone's marketing.
What I collect
When you contact me. If you use the form on this site, call, text or email, I keep your name, phone number or email address, and what you wrote or said, so I can reply and keep track of our conversation.
When you're a client. Your business details, the contacts you give me, project files and notes, and your invoices and payment history.
Phone calls and voicemail. Calls to my business line are logged (the number, time and length of the call). If you leave a voicemail, it is recorded and transcribed so I can listen to it and reply. Live calls are not recorded unless I tell you at the start of the call.
Payments. Card and bank payments are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your full card or bank account number; I only see that a payment was made.
This website. This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs.
AI tools. AI is a core part of how I work. I use it to help design and build websites, write content, and run the business, which is a big part of how I keep prices low. When your information goes into those tools (for example, your business details, site content, or a voicemail transcript), it's used only to do your work. I don't allow those tools to use it to train their models.
How I use it
To answer your questions, quote and do the work, send invoices and receipts, remind you about payments and appointments, and keep business and tax records. That's it. I don't sell, rent or trade your information.
Who else handles it
I don't sell, rent or share your information with third parties. The tools I use to run the business (website hosting, payments, email, and my business phone line) process it only to provide those services to me. I may disclose information if the law requires it.
Text messages
If you give me your mobile number and agree to texts, for example with the checkbox on the contact form, I may text you about your request, your project, appointments, and invoices. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of working with me. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How long I keep it
Client records and invoices are kept as long as tax and business rules require (generally seven years). Inquiries that don't become projects, call logs and voicemails are kept only as long as they're useful, and you can ask me to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information I have about you, and you can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. Just email hello@etowahdigital.com or call (706) 230-1234.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
